ISM CODE (International Safety Management Code)
The International Safety Management Code is international safety management regulation and is to certify that a shipping company is able to ensure the safe operation of ships and the prevention of pollution. It is also certify that a shipping company complies IMO’s regulation and eventually acquires improvement of its compliance. Certificates of this code will be issued to both shipping companies (Documents of Compliance) and Vessels (Safety Management Certificates) under investigation of flag states' offices.
